About McMinnville | Urgent Care

When you have a condition that requires urgent medical attention

We’ll help you start feeling better faster, from your couch or a clinic near you.

At Fast Pace Health, we understand that accidents can happen at the worst times and that there is no way to plan for injuries or illnesses. These types of things don’t occur on our schedule, they can happen anytime, day or night. Thankfully, our urgent care clinics are here to help out when they do.

Our team of highly qualified healthcare providers offers fast, compassionate, and cost-effective care for your everyday illnesses or injuries.  Our McMinnville, TN walk-in urgent care clinic is conveniently located on Old Smithville Rd, just off Bobby Ray Memorial Pkwy.

Here for You When Care Can’t Wait

At Fast Pace Health, our highly-skilled team of healthcare professionals works to make our urgent care medical centers accessible for everyone. When you don’t have time to spare, our urgent care services make a great option for you and your family.

With our ability to service non-life-threatening needs closer to home, we’ve eliminated the need to travel to a hospital or emergency room far away. In fact, urgent care clinics make a great alternative to busy emergency room departments. In many cases, ERs are short-staffed and flooded with patients — they see millions of people every year.

The majority of these ER patients are being treated for minor injuries and illnesses. Urgent care clinics can help alleviate that burden by providing a solution for treating illnesses and minor scrapes and bruises, freeing them up to focus on life-threatening emergencies.

Our urgent care centers also provide an option when you can’t get in to see your primary care doctor or your appointment is still days away. These extended waits can make same-day access to medical care a challenge. Also, many primary care offices don’t offer care after 5 p.m.. But don’t worry, our McMinnville urgent care clinic is open until 8 p.m. — we’re even open on the weekends with minimal wait times.

Do you live in a rural area, far away from hospitals or your primary care office? We got you covered. Local urgent care centers help serve those in rural areas by providing excellent urgent care, education, and accessibility to more people.

Benefits of Fast Pace Health Urgent Care

Let’s take a quick look to highlight some of the many benefits of choosing Fast Pace Health’s McMinnville location for your and your family’s urgent care needs.

Hours To Help Fit Your Busy Schedule

Primary care offices are only open during the weekdays, plus they’re only open during normal business hours. This means any care after 5 p.m. will have to wait. These hours can make getting care difficult when you’re trying to work around things like school and work.

Thankfully, we offer flexible hours at our McMinnville urgent care center. We’re open seven days a week until 8 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively. There is no appointment required. Just walk in or save your spot in line today.

You’ll Get Care Fast

If you’re dealing with a minor injury or illness, there’s no reason to be stuck inside an ER waiting room. Since they operate using a patient triage system, your minor injury could have you at the back of the line. Emergency rooms treat the most critical patients first. At our urgent care clinics, you can expect to wait around 15 minutes or less to be seen.

Affordable Care for All

At Fast Pace Health, we seek to make quality urgent care accessible and affordable for all. On average, you will likely pay much more for a visit to an emergency room. At Fast Pace Health, we accept most private insurance plans and even offer self-pay options for those without insurance.

Want Quality Care From Home? Try Our Telehealth Services

You can now get virtual care from the comfort of your home through our telehealth service or visit our clinic. Our McMinnville clinic is now offering virtual care from the comfort of your home for both new patients and existing patients.

You’ll still receive the same quality care as you would at one of our walk-in clinics without having to leave your couch. Our telehealth health professionals can provide quality care for many common illnesses. They can also prescribe and refill many of the most common medications and antibiotics.

Our telehealth hours are flexible. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT. There is no need for an appointment.

What We Treat at Our McMinnville Location

Our urgent care centers are equipped to handle minor injuries, accidents, and illnesses. Let’s take a look at some of the most common conditions that could bring you through our front doors at our McMinnville location.

We Can Treat Common Infections

Infections represent some of the most common reasons for urgent care visits. Common infections include ear infections, conjunctivitis (pink eye), and urinary tract infections (UTIs). For kids, ear infections are the primary reason for pediatric ER visits.

Infections like pink eye are close behind. This annoying condition is known for its redness, itchiness, and swelling to the eye — not to mention the goo. Another common infection is UTIs. These are marked by a painful burning during urination.

But we have good news. These common infections are completely treatable in most cases. Thankfully, our urgent care centers are ready to help you address these common infections and get you on the road to health.

Seasonal Allergies & Allergic Reactions

Another reason for visiting is allergy symptoms. Seasonal allergies are one of the biggest reasons for primary care visits. The itchy, watery eyes, the runny nose, and the endless sneezing seem to roll around the same time every year. Thankfully, we can help treat these symptoms as well.

While our urgent care centers are set up to handle most mild to moderate allergic reactions, more serious allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) require immediate emergency medical attention.

Broken Bones, Burns, Cuts, and More

Minor injuries clog up emergency departments. Thankfully, urgent care provides an alternative for those broken bones, cuts, and burns. We can also treat cases of mild burns. A minor burn refers to first-degree burns anywhere on the body or 2nd degree burns less than 2 to 3 inches in circumference.

We also treat minor injuries that don’t require emergency room visits, including lacerations, bruises, and bumps to the head. Keep in mind that severe injuries, such as third-degree burns, compound fractures, and other major traumas, require immediate emergency medical attention.

When To Go to an Emergency Room

In many cases, urgent care offers a better option than an emergency room for those with minor injuries or illnesses. But, some potentially life-threatening medical emergencies require immediate treatment from an emergency room, such as:

  • Severe trauma and major bleeding
  • OB complications
  • Poisoning
  • Severe abdominal pain or chest pain
  • Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Seizures or convulsions
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Heart attack or stroke symptoms
  • Severe burns
